Ingredients

  • 500 g dried beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 3 tablespoons flour soup
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • salt
  • frying oil

Instructions
 

  • Soak the chickpeas and beans in water for 12 hours, drain them and cook them for 45 minutes in the auto-cooker.

  • Blend the beans and chickpeas in a blender (or food processor).
  • Knead everything with your hands, adding a little water if necessary.
  • Gather the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Shape about thirty dumplings the size of a 2 euros coin.
  • Fry them 2/3 mn then drain them on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot or cold with small herbed tomato sauces, or yoghurt sauces.
